Embrace A Holistic Approach for Complete Wellness

What is Naturopathy

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health care that focuses on treating the whole person, rather than just their symptoms. Naturopathic practitioners use natural, non-invasive methods to help the body heal itself, such as diet and lifestyle changes, herbal remedies, and supplements. Naturopathic dentists embrace this approach in the dentistry they carry out, opting for solutions that focus on the body as a whole.

The goal is to support the body's natural healing processes and restore balance, rather than just treating symptoms. Unlike conventional medicine, naturopathy emphasizes prevention and wellness, rather than just treating illness. This approach is more patient-centered, as naturopathic practitioners take the time to listen to patients to create individualised treatment plans.

My Approach

I have confidence in conventional medicine and have effectively utilised it for more than 20 years in my daily life as a dentist. However, I also strongly believe that an individualised approach is crucial for optimising health and preventing or treating illnesses.

Diseases can be challenging to cure, and my primary focus lies in maximizing health and ensuring that all possible measures are taken to restore well-being and enable the body to respond effectively to potential threats. The increasing prevalence of autoimmune diseases and cancer has prompted me to contemplate the significant role that the

environment plays in influencing our body's response to such changes.

My primary emphasis is on providing holistic and preventive care to patients. I perceive the mouth as the gateway to the entire body and a reflection of its overall well-being. As a dentist, I believe that I have a much larger role to fulfil. We cannot isolate the tooth from the rest of the body, and it would be remiss to disregard the fact that the mouth is intricately connected to the other organs.

... This is where Dr Król and her extensive knowledge of oral

health and nutrition stepped in. She immediately saw a link I was blissfully

ignorant of because I brushed like I was supposed to, I did not eat to many

sweets, used dental floss and mouthwash. Should this be enough? I gave Dr Król

a daily routine of my dental hygiene and dent was quite surprised when she said

that oral higiene play a small part in impacting our health, and although it is

important we need to look at it through the perspective of a whole body.

Patient Testimonial

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Krol-Shaffie, to seek advice regarding my diet and persistent issues with fatigue. Let me start by saying that my experience with her exceeded all expectations and has truly been life-changing.

Dr. Krol-Shaffie took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and asked insightful questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of my lifestyle, including my dietary habits, sleep patterns, and overall well-being. Her patient approach made me feel understood, which was a refreshing change from previous experiences with healthcare professionals.

She took tests to study my levels and explained the intricate relationship between diet, fatigue, and overall energy levels...

Patient Testimonial

I saw Dr Krol-Shaffie for a nutropathic consultation earlier this year, and cannot praise it highly enough.  I decided to book onto her programme as I had
been suffering with a prolonged period of stomach problems, lethargy and poor sleep, which had started after catching Covid in 2021. I was also becoming
increasingly concerned about menopause-related weight gain.

I didn’t know what to expect, as I had never had a consultation of this type before, and was a little apprehensive when I arrived. However, I really did not need to be – as Dr
Krol-Shaffie put me at my ease straight away. She was really kind and very attentive.
